It looks like the dramatic last moments of a Transformer who has lost his will to live.
A South American rescue helicopter has been filmed dramatically breaking apart in front of onlookers just seconds after it landed in Brazil.
Footage showed how the seemingly plastic aircraft shook itself to pieces - with the doors falling off - as the rotor blades continued to rotate with passengers still inside it.
Crew members remained inside the cockpit during the drama, which was captured on camera by rescue workers.
One of the crew suffered a slight foot injury, but no one else present was hurt in the northern state of Para.
Brazilian air accident investigators said the helicopter experienced what is known as ground resonance.
The central gear box became highly unstable and the resulting vibrations destroyed the aircraft accordingly.
The now-defunct helicopter belonged to the Para rescue crew.
