Remember this when your kid says he/she wants to be a Major League pitcher when they grow up. Colorado Rockies rookie Juan Nicasio took a line drive to the side of the head when pitching against the Washington Nationals on Friday night. That resulted in a broken neck, for which he underwent surgery on Saturday. Scary stuff.
